What are the benefits?
Bayticol Dip and Spray is an effective, easy-to-use dip and spray concentrate for the treatment of susceptible ticks. Bayticol contains the active ingredient Flumethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide which interferes with the sodium channel of nerve cell membranes, delaying repolarisation to cause parasite death.
Bayticol Dip and Spray can be mixed up and applied to cattle, horses or dogs as a spray, dip or wash application for control against susceptible ticks. Once applied, Bayticol will treat and control Flumethrin sensitive Cattle Tick, New Zealand Cattle Tick and Paralysis Tick on cattle and horses; and Brown Dog Tick and New Zealand Cattle Tick on dogs.

Directions for Use
Directions for UseCATTLE AND HORSES:
For control of Cattle Tick, New Zealand Cattle Tick and Paralysis Tick - DOGS:
Use as a plunge dip, recirculating spray race, constant replenishment spray race or hand spray at a dilution rate of 1:1000 (1 litre per 1000 litres of water) = 75mg Flumethrin per litre of wash. When spraying, use a minimum of 8 - 10 litres of wash per adult to ensure saturation. Repeat treatment at intervals no more than 19 - 21 days as part of strategic tick control program. However for Paralysis tick and NZ Cattle tick, treat every 10 days from first appearance of ticks.
For control of Brown Dog Tick and New Zealand Cattle Tick -
Use as a wash with a dilution rate of 3mL Bayticol Dip and Spray to 5L water. The dog must be thoroughly wet with the rinse all over by using a sponge to rub the wash into all parts of the coat. Do not wash out, allow to dry in the coat. Repeat fortnightly for continuous control.
Bayticol Dip and Spray is effective against sensitive strains of cattle tick but resistance may develop to any tickicide. If lowered level of control is experienced, resistance testing of your ticks is recommended.
